I had returned from my Winter Holidays back at home in Romania when I had to embark on another journey.
This time around I had to travel to Scotland in order to attend another conference. The British Psychological Society – Division of Occupational Psychology Annual Conference, where I had to present a scientific poster based on the results of my first PhD study.
Arriving in Glasgow, I was quite shocked by the town streets. I felt like I was going up and down on hills and not streets!
Moreover, the grey sky was another shocking element for me.
However, in terms of the Conference, it was interesting to attend different talks and to bump into old acquaintances. At a later stage, I found out that I was the winner of the 2nd prize of the Poster Competition!
Overall, this was another British experience from which I learnt new things, both in terms of culture and in terms of science.
I just wished I had more time to also visit Edinburgh as there the sky seemed to be blue and much brighter than in Glasgow.
