Chelsea Messan - “Introducing Chelsea”

Chelsea Messan

My name is Chelsea and I’m from a country you have probably never heard of before: Gabon! (It’s in central Africa on the west coast). I am 22 years old and have been in the United States for almost 4 years. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science and have two more years to go before graduating.

My name is Chelsea and I’m from a country you have probably never heard of before: Gabon! (It’s in central Africa on the west coast). I am 22 years old and have been in the United States for almost 4 years. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science and have two more years to go before graduating! I earned an Associate of Science at Portland Community College (in Portland, Oregon) and while looking for a 4-year school to transfer to, I found Lewis-Clark State College. Actually, I should say LCSC found me! During a transfer fair at PCC, an LCSC representative talked to me about the school and all it had to offer. I applied, got admitted and decided to move to Lewiston! I had never been to Lewiston or even Idaho before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Lewiston is a lovely town with beautiful mountains surrounding it. The people here are very nice and there is always something interesting happening on campus and opportunities to get involved. Lewiston is definitely not a big city with tons of things to do, but if you are not shy to talk to people and get involved you will have a great time!

One last thing about me: I absolutely love chocolate!!!
