A Coffee with Achinewhu Chijioke


Achinewhu Chijioke is a practicing counsellor at Emarid College, Igwuruta Campus, Rivers State in Nigeria. He graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) with a Diploma in Social Work and BSc (Ed) in Educational Guidance and Counselling/Health Education. Chijioke was a strong student's union activist and held several positions within it, including the 9th National President of Student's Counselling Association of Nigeria (SCASSON).

How many children do you work with and what age range does your college cover?

I work with two hundred and eighty children, who are between the ages of nine to eighteen.
