About the job

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions and Recruitment Officer is primarily responsible for recruiting students through handling inquiries, evaluating applicants and ensuring the smooth and timely processing of applications. This position exists to ensure the recruitment and admission of qualified students, establishing relationships and promoting the university’s programs to encourage a positive response and interest in attending WVPU.

Your profile

  • Minimum Bachelor degree from recognized university.
  • At least 1-2 years’ related work experience (Education, Sales, Marketing or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and at least one other foreign language. Knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills; strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Professional demeanor and customer-service oriented manner, with proven ability to successfully interact with a diverse group of people.
  • Analytical and research skills to assess different educational systems from around the world.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • You enjoy business travel (national and international).
  • Knowledge of the American educational system is advantageous.

We are looking for an individual with a professional and outgoing personality who connects well with people and brings along a proactive attitude as well as a hands-on mentality. The applicant must have the legal right to work in Austria. The yearly gross salary on a full-time basis (40 hours) for this position is a minimum of € 32.000,- gross p.a. plus benefits; higher payment depending on qualification and experience.
